My theory on the substance called ki is an educated attempt to analyze human life force.It is only a theory,so it may not be correct.Here goes....
Ki is a plasma.Plasma is the fourth state of matter.Ki is very very low frequency,even lower than flames.It gives off very little usable energy,as well as a very very small amount of radiation.
Each cell in your body produces this energy.Exess energy produced is stored in the powerpoints of your body,chakras.There are seven chakras in all. (In a human) They are (from head to toe) the crown,third eye,heart,dan-tien,palm,hera,and sole chakras.Each stores different amounts of energy depending on their size and how many cells pass through that area.
This biological plasma can be accesed and used through mental methods.However,if too much ki is used at one time,your body goes into overload and cannot produce ki.This can be hurtful and even deadly,because 1.cells produce ki 2.cells store ki 3.cells keep a small amount to stay alive.......so,if you use up ki in a rapid velocity rate,it your body will try to produce more and more ki to store in the quickly-drying chakras.The cells give off all of their vital ki,and die.This causes rapid cell destruction.If you use up too much ki,your body usually shuts down and you go unconsious.However if you are using your ki up really fast,it can result in death.
